The influence of pore size distribution and moisture content on tensile strength of filter cakes
The aim of this paper is a correlation of tensile strength of partially dewatered filter cakes with capillary pressure curve obtained during dewatering experiments. The results presented are based on shear tests of filter cakes with different moisture content. The model of dewatering process is presented. The experimental data are used for determination of capillary size distribution of filter cake build of limestone particles.
