Constructional solution of the torque sensor for measurement of the mixing power input in laboratory scale
New universal installation to investigation of the power characteristic of the mixing in single- and two-phase systems has been presented. The original constructional solution of the torque sensor has been described. The both classical clutches: between shaft of the motor and torque measuring instruments and between torque sensor and the impeller shaft have been eliminated. The simple construction as the hollow tube sensor is small and keeps to a minimum charring of the shaft.
