The research on mixing in gas-liquid system in a vessel with two Rushton turbines of different dimensions was conducted. The upper impeller had the same diameter as the lower impeller or a smaller one. The impact of dimensions of the two impellers and the distance between them on gas dispersion, gas hold-up and mixing power were analysed.
