Degradation of benzo[a]pyrene in aqueous solutions was carried out using four systems of advanced oxidation processes: H2O2/UV, O-3, O-3/UV and O-3/H2O2. The influence of reaction mixture pH and the presence of radical reactions inhibitor on the process rates was examined. The contributions of direct and radical reactions in the studied systems were evaluated.
