Problem of optimal methanol production in a fluidized bed rector with recirculation
It was shown that in a fluidized bed reactor with recirculation the extrema of yield of methanol production exist. The values of object function were computed at whole steady state branches. Such a result has been obtained by combining the continuation of the steady states with computing the values of the object function and linear dynamics analysis of these states. The object function proposed takes into account the work needed to compress of the gas in a multistage compressor.
