A comparative analysis of the optimal temperature policy for an enzymatic reaction with Michaelis-Menten kinetics in a batch reactor has been carried out. Isothermal, isothermal with an optimal temperature and conducted at an optimal temperature policy processes have been considered. Based on the analytical and numerical solutions possibilities to reduce the-reaction time have been indicated by the application of the optimal temperature profile with respect to the isothermal process and the optimal variant of the isothermal process.
