Adsorptive methods in reducing greenhouse gas emissions
Limiting emissions of greenhouse gases requires a thorough analysis of the adsorptive methods available for the removal of carbon dioxide and methane from a host of gas streams. Principal characteristics of the processes of pressure swing adsorption are described that can be used for large-scale CO2 capture from flue gases, and also, for the enrichment of coal bed methane (including mine ventilation air) and its subsequent utilisation.
