Application multi-zone models to observe the variation in the time of plant cell aggregate size in bioreactor
Evolution of aggregates fort-ning the plant cell culture has been investigated experimentally in the stirred tank reactor equipped with the Rushton turbine and modelled. The large-scale inhomogeneity of turbulence is modelled using a network of zones, and the fine-scale inhomogeneity of turbulence is interpreted using the multifractal model of turbulence.
