Investigations on kinetics of the aggregation and breakage of chalk particles in a stirried vessel for the different mixer types
This work presents the results of investigation dealing with the influence of stirrer type on simultaneous aggregation and breakage processes in a stirred vessel. As a result of investigation the values of collision efficiency alpha and breakage rate coefficient beta(R0) were determined for the propeller, turbine and vibrating agitators. The influence of stiffer type on the Sauters diameter of population of aggregates was compared.
