Griding and mixing of titanium pigment carried on by means of dissolver with disk agitator
The paper presents mathematical dependences elaborated on the basis of researches and theoretical analysis, enabling calculation of the work, time and effective power demanded for the process of instantaneous grinding and mixing by means of dissolver with disk agitator. Further more there has been elaborated a general form of equation describing time dependent rheological properties of tested suspension. Grinding process kinetics has also been described on basis of population balance.
