This paper shows results of the nitrification and denitrification kinetic investigations in two stage activated sludge treatment of the leachate from municipal solid waste landfill. in Sequence Batch Reactors (SBR). Model parameters were estimated. The optimisation method implemented in Easyfit (Shittkowski, Germany) was used in order to solve system of differential equations.
