The results of measurements of the pressure drop of air drawn through chosen dry powder inhalers were presented. They indicated significant differences in the specific aerodynamic resistance (R-D: 0.049-0.172 hPa(1/2) dm(-3.)min), which has the important influence on the chance of Proper emission of aerosolised drug from the inhaler during use by patients of a different health status.
