The results of the laboratory studies of the effectiveness of the plasma ignition of the liquid fuels are presented in the paper. The influence of spraying quality and air stoichiometric ratio on ignition efficiency is investigated. The advantages of this kind of solution of the plasma system in the oil burners and its application possibilities are indicated, as well.
