The reduction of nitrogen oxides emission in the installations of SO2 removal
The results of experiments of the NO to NO2 and N2O5 oxidation process in the flue gases were presented. The commercial chlorinated lime (Ca(ClO)(2)+Ca(OH)(2)) was used as the oxidant. The dependence of the NO removal efficiency on the temperature, contact time and amount of sorbent and oxidant was determined. The flue gases cleaning product included: CaSO3, CaCl2, Ca(NO3)(2), Ca(OH)(2) principally.
