The most important of mixer parameter is a range of fluid motion zone in a tank. Identifying of these zones by experimental methods is extremely difficult, The two methods for determination of mixer interaction in a tank have been presented in this paper - analytical and analytical using CFD software. The authors focused on comparison of results achieved by these two methods and possibility of using these methods for industrial applications.
