Tubular SOFC performance under various operation regimes
The numerical model of solid oxide fuel cell is presented in the paper. The model has been implemented into the commercial CFD code. The basic set of governing equations for reacting mixture has been extended to current transport equation with the proper constitutive relations and closures. Model has been tested and verified based on given experimental results for tubular SOFC. Numerical calculations have been performed to predict the fuel cell performance under various operation conditions.
