Applicability of the chosen turbulence models in numerical investigations of flows around a body with stream separation
The paper contains a comparison of numerical simulations of a flow around a body with the experimental results for two various sensors, differing, among others, in a way of pressure difference tapping. In the case of the round sensor, a study on the solutions obtained in a numerical way was presented; it used turbulence models k-epsilon and k-omega and the available functions describing the fluid motion close to the wall. The results were compared with the experimental data.
