Modelling of the laminar-turbulent transition with the use of intermittency transport equation
The paper shows the results of calculations obtained with the use of intermittency transport model (ITM). The model is based on two transport equations, one for the intermittency (gamma) and the other for the momentum thickness Reynolds number (Re-theta iota). To trigger transition onset and length of transition in-house correlations were used.
