Newtonian flow instabilities inside an SMX static mixer
LDA measurements of the axial velocity of Newtonian fluid (starch syrup) flow inside an SMX static mixer have been presented. The experimental results were evaluated by means of the fast Fourier transform (FFT) and resulted in determining the critical Reynolds number.
