The phase equilibrium behaviour of volatile organic as well as overcritical components in coal tar oil as solvent during the coke oven gas purification process is analysed. Caused by the lack of experimental data in the literature and the complexity of the washing fluid, the results are compared to various predictive g(E) models and equations of state in order to proof the accuracy of these approaches.
