Construction of controlled drying processes based on a mathematical model
Computer simulations of controlled drying processes based on a mathematical modelling are presented. The main aim of this paper is to examine the response of a dried body to variable in time drying conditions. The considerations are performed on a cylindrically shaped kaolin sample subject to convective drying. Time dependences of temperature in various points of the cylinder and the drying curve profiles have been presented. The problem was examined both numerically and experimentally for comparison. Good agreement has been obtained.
