Canada has become a world-class producer of recovered elemental sulphur in the second half of the 20th century. The Canadian sulphur industry is now a source of state-of-the-art "know how" on producing, forming, handling, storing, and transporting this key commodity as Canada markets it worldwide. Environmental friendliness has been addressed by working to control fugitive dust and development of acidity.
