Solubility investigations in the NaCl+V2O5+H(2)Osystem from 293 K to 323 K
The mutual solubility of NaCl and V2O5 in water in the temperature range 293-323 K is reported. The results are used to plot part of the polythermal solubility surface for the system NaCl + V2O5 + H2O. The data are useful in the determination of the optimum operating parameters for production of sodium metavanadate by reacting NaCl and V2O5 in the presence of either steam or oxygen.
