Densities and viscosities of binary mixtures of m-cresol with ethylene glycol or methanol over several temperatures
Densities and viscosities for the m-cresol + ( ethylene glycol or methanol) binary systems have been experimentally determined over several temperatures and at normal atmospheric pressure, over the entire mole fraction range. Other mixing properties of interest such as the excess molar volumes and the viscosity deviations have been also obtained for each of the systems. The excess molar volumes, V-E, and viscosity deviations, Delta eta, have been fitted to the Redlich-Kister equation, and the coefficients and estimate of the standard error values are presented.
