Volumetric, Ultrasonic, and Transport Properties of an Aqueous Solution of Polyethylene Glycol Monomethyl Ether at Different Temperatures
The density, speed of sound, and dynamic viscosity of the aqueous solutions of polyethylene glycol monomethyl ether at T = (283.15 to 323.15) K have been measured experimentally over the entire range of compositions at atmospheric pressure. From these experimental data, the excess molar volume, isentropic compressibility, deviation in isentropic compressibility, deviation in speed of sound, and viscosity deviation have been determined for each composition. The calculated values of these quantities have favorably been fitted to two different variable-degree polynomial equations.
