Densities, Refractive Indices, Speeds of Sound, and Surface Tensions for Dilute Aqueous Solutions of 2-Methyl-1-propanol, Cyclopentanone, Cyclohexanone, Cyclohexanol, and Ethyl Acetoacetate at 298.15 K
Densities (rho), refractive indices (n(D)), speeds of sound (u), and surface tensions (sigma) for the aqueous binary solutions of partially miscible 2-methyl-1-propanol, cyclopentanone, c-yclohexanone, cyclohexanol, and ethyl acetoacetate were determined at the temperature of 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure over the mole fraction range reaching the solubility limit in the aqueous phase. Isentropic compressibilities, determined by means of the Laplace equation, have been calculated from the measured experimental data. To analyze the behavior of surface tensions, the extended Langmuir (EL) model was used.
