Measurement of holdup and residence time distribution in a two impinging streams cyclone reactor
Some aspects of the hydrodynamic behavior of a two impinging stream cyclone reactor were studied under a range of operating conditions. A stochastic model based on markov processes was developed which describes the behavior of solid particles in the reactor. A technique based on this model was employed to determine the residence time distribution of the particles in the reactor.
