Heat transfer in a micropolar fluid through a porous medium with variable plate temperature
Heat transfer analysis for flow of a micropolar fluid through a porous medium with variable plate temperature is presented. Similarity expressions have been derived and the resulting equations are integrated numerically. It has been observed that the dimensionless temperature decreases for an increase in the plate temperature, microrotation parameter, inertia coefficient parameter and Prandtl number but decreases as the permeability and coupling constant parameter increases. The values of the Nusselt number increases with increasing plate temperature, Prandtl number, gyration parameter, inertia coefficient parameter while decreases with an increase in permeability and coupling constant.
