Non-catalytic Amination of carbon double bond using atmospheric pressure non-thermal plasma
The non-catalytic arnination of 1-decene using atmospheric pressure non-thermal plasma was investigated. The reaction was carried out by exposing ammonia plasma jet to liquid 1-decene. The products identified included I-decylamine and 2-decylainine, as well as decane. A reaction mechanism was proposed from the results obtained. The Study Suggested the atmospheric pressure non-thermal plasma jet was attractive for the amination of organic compounds having carbon double bond without use of a catalyst.
