The development of suck-pickers by the finite element method
Stresses and deformations in Elastomer Suck-pickers have been investigated by a iterative Finite Element Method in consideration of normal forces, friction, temperature, material and negative pressure. The mechanical structure can be optimised by variing the geometrical dimensions.
