Static nitrogen adsorption isotherms have been determined on different carbon black samples in order to calculate site energy distributions. The results obtained for carbon blacks treated at different temperatures show that this method seems to be very sensitive to the level of organization at the surface of the particles. Details of the experimental procedure, calculations and main results are presented and discussed in this paper.
