A homogeneous performance on a consistently high level of quality is the objective and the challenge of all rubber compounding processes. For optimum dispersibility and distribution homogeneously mixed powder blends offer an alternative to conventional techniques. Their particular attitude is a depressed melting point due to chemical interaction. As a result the preblended chemicals melt at typical mixing conditions and are distributed thoroughly within the rubber compound - as a liquid. Moreover, repeated tests under industrial conditions have proven that significant quantities (ca. 10 %) of chemicals can be saved by using powder preblends due their more efficient incorporation.
