The treatment of plastics parts with homogeneous plasma has so far been subject to considerable restrictions due to the fact that the available plasma sources have been limited to high-vacuum operation. With the introduction of Cyrannus plasma, large numbers of 3D Darts call now also be economic ally treated in-line in the medium pressure range. The concept presented here is targeted primarily at the activation/coating of materials which are not going to be treated as bulk goods nor tt ill need to undergo high-grade finishing, as in tool production.
