Adjusted geometries - Optimising the build chamber for plastic fuel tanks
Modern automotive development is marked by concurrent engineering. In Ludwigshafen/Germany practice, this means that the boundary conditions constantly change as development work progresses. The geometric design and required build chamber for the various parts of a vehicle change and, at the same time, are highly interdependent. This causes headaches in particular with geometrically subordinate parts that take their shape from the surrounding, functionally more important parts.
