Packaging for medical devices, operating-theatre apparel, wound dressings and sterile sheets for medical applications, needs to be easy and quick to open. No particles or fibres are allowed to become detached from the torn surface, however. Traditional peel concepts already satisfy this requirement, but a new innovative material combination with a spunflash nonwoven is able to offer further benefits.
