Short cycles for injection moulded microfluidics parts
Until now accurate casting of microfluidic structures in the injection moulding process has often been possible only with lengthy variable temperature thermal regulation of the mould. If these surface textures must still be sealed after injection, this usually takes place in an external covering station. Both lead to long cycle times. However, it is also possible to do this differently, as the following example shows.
