For the production of door trim panels, the plant operator uses two standard robots and three shelf-mounted robots positioned on the machines. In a sophisticated job-sharing process, the panels are provided with a piece of open-weave fabric (scrim), threaded bushes and labels, and then machined in a laser-cutting unit.
