A fully-automatic, integrated manufacturing cell based on a Boy 35 VV injection moulding machine with a vertical clamping and injection unit shows just how efficiently in-mould decoration (IMD) can be run. The design of the parts can be modified to suit the requirements at any time by changing the films in the magazine. The unit is thus able to produce a wide range of different versions of a moulded part without any interruption of production.
