For automotive manufacture in the coming years the trend is clearly toward still more diesel engines. However, manufacturers face new challenges in order to comply with sharper environmental-protection regulations. Space and weight savings through compact and lightweight construction methods are only two of the key words. For example such requirements can he fulfilled using supercharged air pipes made of the high performance plastic PPS using blow moulding technology for compressor and/or turbo engines.
