Although the processing technology available for plastics permits a high degree of integration, thus reducing the need for joining processes, it is nevertheless often necessary to combine plastic parts in assemblies with other materials or with other plastic parts. This article provides an overview of purely additive joining techniques for previously produced individual parts.
