The technology developed by Multi-Orbital-Systems, Nailia/Germany, not only permits very short processing times of a few seconds - only 15 s instead of 70 s for plastic profiles - but can also be used to join different materials, such as non-ferrous metals and steel, or polypropylene to polyamide. The technique can also process composites such as fibre-reinforced materials or sandwich panels.
