A new technology for manufacturing the polyesters PET PBT PTT PEN and their copolymers can utilise raw materials such as DMT or PTA. The new tower reactor carries out esterification and pre-polycondensation reactions simultaneously. The required PBT qualities are produced in the melt phase in the Dis-cage finishing reactor.
