Thermoplastic hybrid structures
ALL-PLASTIC HYBRIDS. All-plastic hybrid technology is a now lightweight design technique combining discontinuous long fibre-reinforced thermoplastics (LFT) with continuous fibre-reinforced (CFT) shell or rod-like, high-performance composites. The use of continuous fibre-reinforced profiles with a thermoplastic matrix provides a highly economical design, even for mass-produced structural parts subject to severe load.
