QUALITY ASSURANCE. With the example of items of a part from a family of car-body blanking plugs injection moulded from thermoplastic elastomers, systematic quality-assurance was carried out. The methods of statistical experimental planning and the correlation and regression analysis were employed to give tool setters a list of measures for fast and effective troubleshooting of the injection moulding process.
