Intrinsically conductive polymers
ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS AND DISPLAYS. The importance of intrinsically conductive, that is, self-conducting, polymers is growing in many areas of the electronics industry: these materials are already finding use as through contacts in circuit boards and as the opposing electrode in polymer-based capacitors. Polymer electronics and polymeric light-emitting displays (PLED) are being predicted as growth areas for the future.
