HOT-RUNNER NOZZLE FOR TIGHTLY SPACED CAVITIES. Nozzles are one of the most technically challenging components of a hot-runner system. They are responsible to a large degree for reliable operation, moulded part quality and the economics of the injection moulding process. Development of a new needle shutoff nozzle (valve gate) with a nominal diameter of 8 mm sets a new standard for applications with tightly spaced cavities or minimal space for installation.
