Diagnostics of porous structure and assessment of catalytic activity of natural zeolite in styrene polymerization reaction
Physicochemical studies of natural zeolite and zeolite samples treated with different solutions of hydrochloric acid were carried out. The nitrogen adsorption technique and the BET model were used for determination of the specific surface area and the pore size distribution. It was shown that the optimal acid modification conditions facilitate the development of catalytically active forms of natural zeolite.
