Conversion of n-butane to isoparaffins over modified mordenite-zirconia catalysts
The catalytic properties of modified mordenite-zirconia catalysts in the conversion of n-butane to isoparaffins have been investigated. It has been shown that the modification with nickel, cobalt, and sulfate ions increases the activity of the mordenite-zirconia catalysts, thereby making it possible to lower the temperature of the process to 190-220 degrees C. At lower temperatures, dilution with hydrogen retards the formation of isoparaffins.
