Studies on stability of aqueous dispersions of carboxy and amino groups-containing acrylate copolymers
Structure effect of xylene-dissolved acrylic-metacrylic copolymers with amino and carboxylic functional groups on their aqueus emulsions stability was studied. Both ionic and non-ionic surfactants oxyethylenated to varying degrees were used as emulsifying agents. The most stable emulsions were obtained when oxyethylenated lauric alcohol, alkylbenzenesulfonic acid and its sodium salt were used.
