Synthesis, structure, properties and application of polymer electrolytes were reviewed. Polymer electrolytes: (i) alkaline, (ii) protic and (iii) containing mobile Cu cations were synthesized. The electric conductivity of polymers (ii) and (ii) was comparable with that of liquid solutions. Electrochemical capacitors based on polymers (i) and (ii) and activated carbon were prepared.
